Comparison of AVG Products
There have been a number of different antivirus software prgrams that have been installed on my personal computers. Unfortunately, it has taken me quite some time to find the software that seems to work the best and offer the highest level of protection. AVG offers a reliable antivirus program that catches viruses where others do not and it does not seem to slow down the system which is all too common with other programs.
There are three different antivirus programs provided by AVG. The first would be their free antivirus software. This protects the computer from viruses and includes updating features. Unlike their other software, there is no trial period. The free program is a full software version and it's free.
The Anti-Virus 2012 product includes the antivirus scanning and adds protection for file sharing and includes 24 hour technical support on the product.
The most robust program would be the Internet Security 2012 program. This includes virus scanning as well as file protection and 24 hour support. It also features email, banking and shopping protection and has a tool that safely speeds up video downloads. For the best protection, this is the most comprehensive antirvirus program.
Every computer should have antivirus protection installed. In today's society, a computer that is not protected is certainly at risk and there can be catastrophic results. For an antivirus program that is robust, easy to use and will not bog down the computer, the only sensible choice is AVG.
